merger with Urban economics

There doesn't appear to be consensus to merge these two articles, and the merger tag has sat since 2009, so I am closing the discussion. While I agree with Quiggin that this article does appear very essay-ish, and not all that encyclopedic, I also can't see how it can be merged into urban economics, either. WTF? Although urbanomics gets plenty of Google hits, there's nothing to suggest it's more than a portmanteau version of urban economics. The content here is essayish, but maybe some of it would be useful inUrban economics.JQ (talk) 23:28, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

current title of the article is completely wrong: urban theory is a much broader concept, used in urban design and urban planning, than the limited meaning of city formation phenomenon where economic priorities prevail.
