Twice I have removed links to heartfeltcandles.com, a maker of Unity Candles. These are inappropriate links.

The start of the history section does not sound objective. It sounds like the author has an anti-christian bias. I suggest it be re-written with a a more-objective tone.

--- agreed. it all comes of as someone being very desperate to validate this new ceremony by portraying it as 'something that existed a long time ago but was then forbidden by christians'. (without giving the slightest amount of proof that this is anything but a recently thought up 'tradition') Selena1981 (talk) 20:36, 3 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Should add in a history section again — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.119.144.53 (talk) 16:34, 1 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

History section would be appreciated, but also there should be clarification on what religious tradition this is done in. Is this a christian tradition? The phrase "traditional weddings" in the beginning could refer to any religious tradition and is not clear at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.207.127.233 (talk) 21:44, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Not "traditional" at all edit

I have never seen this at a Jewish wedding. I think this is a practice for non-religious people who nominally identify as "Christian". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.3.141.164 (talk) 13:23, 30 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
