a prod tag was placed on the article, questioning the existence of the party (and other parties before 1993). I'm highly skeptical of the claim that political parties would not have existed in Andorra prior to 1993, there are plenty of refs on political parties in the country prior to 1993. According to Nohlen & Stöver (p155), political parties were illegal in Andorra until 1993. This is repeated by Parties and Elections. However, the newspaper you provided suggests otherwise (the Google book is not viewable).

I wonder, in light of this, whether we should rewrite the 1992 election article. Then again, I'm not sure how to couch this - perhaps that the parties were unofficial groupings (one source suggested that the Democratic Party was formed in the 1970s and "tolerated"). Yes, I think the fact Nohlen & Ströver are referring to was that political parties had no particular legal recognition. But they were not banned in the sense of Francoist Spain. --Soman (talk) 07:45, 28 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
