There was a previous copyright infringement with regard to http://www.uclahealth.org/body.cfm?id=41 which should be avoided. My intention in starting this article is to compile resources which shed light on the administrative structure, board composition, appointment processes, financial facts of this body

It is important to retain this as a separate entry. The sheer size (by budget, employees etc) of the UCLA Health System exceeds the size of the rest of campus. It has been said that UCLA is a hospital (multiple hospitals, really, plus hundreds of medical offices) with a university attached to it. This should be reflected in an independent entry which would be linked from UCLA.

To present the Health System as a minor bureaucratic sub-unit of the UCLA campus promotes a forgetfulness about the real size and importance of the Health System. It is important to create a place which makes accessible information about this "hidden giant", which receives very little independent public scrutiny. Don't hide it! As you say, this topic receives "very little independent" coverage. Please see Wikipedia:Notability, Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies), and WP:BIG. Regards, James(talk/contribs) 23:19, 31 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

subunit: UCLA Health is not a bureaucratic subunit of UCLA. uclahealth.org and ucla.edu are different domains. They are partly located on the same campus, but they have different budgets and leadership structures. UCLAHealth reports directly to the UC wide Office of the President.

quality: As it stands, the article is only a beginning. Over time past contributors will be able to make it more substantial. Velocipedus (talk) 00:30, 1 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
