Should this be redirected to U-procedure and theory U?

This seems to be about one person's view of the U-procedure that has been elevated to a theory because of a wish to promote a MOOC about the subject without acknowledging the previous work on which it was based. I wish that academics, particularly those from world-class universities, wouldn't engange in such spamming activity that can only serve to demean themselves.

If the person that created this cares about the reputation of Otto Scharmer then they should redirect this to the article that acknowledges the previous work in this area.

The book Theory U has been published in 2007 which predates the MOOC that started in 2015 by 8 years. Very hard to maintain that it is has been elevated to a theory to promote a MOOC. Ad Huikeshoven (talk) 21:14, 15 February 2017 (UTC)

Jaworski and Scharmer coauthored with two others the book 'Presence'. In that book Scharmer's theory is mentioned as u-theory and at time of publication of Presence the book Theory U by Scharmer was forthcoming and is mentioned in the book Presence. U-theory is the subject of chapter 6 of the book Presence. Endnote 7 of that chapter cites the origins of the theory in which the works of Glasl The Enterprise of the Future and Confronting Conflict is explicitly cited. The note mentions three methodologies on which it is bases, fenomenology, medidative practices, and prototyping. The u-theory is inspired by, according to the note, on the work of Rudolf Steiner. It might have been true that this Wikipedia entry didn't cite previous work, but you can't blame Otto Scharmer for that. Ad Huikeshoven (talk) 18:41, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
