This should somehow be merged with Tungsten trioxide --BjKa 13:23, 24 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

The oxidation state cannot be right, it must be VI.Slicky 12:39, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Tungsten(VI) oxide is WO3, not tungsten(III) oxide.

  • I removed the merge recommendation, and will recommend that tungsten trioxide be moved to tungsten(VI) oxide. Wim van Dorst (Talk) 22:37, 26 May 2007 (UTC).Reply
I wonder if tungsten(III) oxide exists at all (at more than microgram scale). I can't find it in the usual sources (Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, Ullmann, Kirk-Othmer). I'll remove the applications, since they're clearly for tungsten(VI) oxide. Markussep 16:12, 29 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

2006 paper edit

I have added a ref that I have been able to find to this compound. It is obviously elusive! --Axiosaurus (talk) 19:56, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
