Designer
The Portugalete Transporter Bridge was designed by spanish architect Alberto Palacios, a disciple of Ferdinand Arnodin, who was one of Eiffel's collaborators. It must be changed. For a source, just see the link

Stalingrad
It is claimed that the Stalingrad example was never a true transporter bridge: see http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/5feet/message/2403 and citations. Is there any evidence other than on Wikipedia for the Stalingrad transporter? --ChaRleyTroniC 15:54, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
