Electrical Symbol

Can someone add an electrical symbol?

How does one add images? I've seen it as two diodes or two zener diodes cathode to cathode. -W0lfie 15:01, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Basically:

1. You must have an image to which you have publication rights, for example, an image that you've created yourself using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or whatever is your favorite graphics editor. Save it as a .GIF, .JPEG, or .PNG .
2. You then upload the image to Wikipedia (see the "Upload file" item in the left-hand menu's "Toolbox" area). Ideally, you put it in the http://commons.wikipedia.org/ area (rather than the http://en.wikipedia.org area) so that any language Wiki can then use it.
3. You then edit the image description data stating that you have the rights to republish the image and you license its use under one of the applicable Wiki licenses. Remember, the licenses are quite open and pretty-much anyone anywhere can then re-use your image.
4. Finally, you put a Wiki "image" tag into any articles where you want the image to appear. The top of the image will line up with the point in the article text where you've put the image. You can control the size of the image, its left/center/right placement, and its caption. I've included an example of an image tag below.
