Wanna edit

One problem is that "which candidate does Vicky wanna win?" is perfectly OK in my speech — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.234.221.56 (talk) 20:30, 25 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

thnx for the section on wanna-contraction.Russky1802 04:30, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

It should be expanded to include other proposed evidence (auxiliary contraction, quantifier placement, processing data, …) and counter-arguments. It's on my to-do list, but maybe someone else will beat me to it. CapnPrep 09:41, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Proposed change (just for clarity, I found myself rereading the whole section trying to figure it out):
  • Which candidate does Vicky want to vote for t? → Which candidate does Vicky  wanna  vote for?
  • Which candidate does Vicky want t to win the election? → *Which candidate does Vicky  wanna  win the election?
The colors hopefully indicate which is valid :) — robbiemuffin page talk 19:38, 22 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
