editHello all,
This article has been marked for deletion but i've now disambiguated the discrepancies thus far. Toyboize does exist as both a band and a web series - albeit fictional.
It is not a hoax: the music will be made available to the general public under the band name of Toyboize. The series is running online with over 20,000 views in the first week and has been written about in Britain's biggest TV trade paper Broadcast so it cannot fairly be described as non-notable.
An anonymous user had then turned the page into a personalised, subjective rant with potentially libellous remarks. I have removed all of that content and replaced it with the facts.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

- Since it is an advertisement, which seeks to attract publicity and lifestyle consumers, and for the sole benefit of the private owners, it does not belong to an unbiased and official dictionary. It is non-notable. I didn't tag this, I just came from Youtube. Teemu Ruskeepää (talk) 20:13, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
The page is not an advertisement for anything! It looked like it was an informative page about a web show - no different to something like this one KateModern - also about a web show. The page as it stands is unbiased. The aim of wikipedia is not to create a dictionary but an encyclopedia. You can see that the web series gained another 50,000 vieweres this wekeend. Considering that the web series has the involvement of one of the world's largest comedians Ricky Gervais and also the production company behind the 'Idol', ' Got Talent' and 'Apprentice' franchises, I would not term this series non-notable. The "band" for this web series is fictional, yes?
editIs it appropriate to say that this band is a fictional one? Made for the purpose of a plot for the show right? If not then please show me, because if it is then this page needs to be changed, not by deleting it, as web shows deserves pages, but the page is deceiving by saying they are (were) a real child pop band who were active from 1988-1989. Information like that should be used in a plot description paragraph, please respond, thank you!

editThere's a confusion in writing here between the fictional band and its real-life existence, as exemplified by them having a YouTube channel, and a real record release. It is important to distinguish the two, if only because we a re writing an encyclopedia here. Hence I have renamed the first section "Back story" to indicate that this is purely fiction; even so, some sources would be welcome. Some exposition of the failed attempts at a comeback would be useful to highlight the comedy nature of the TV programme, e.g. their attempts to recruit a "must be black" new member, and playing the "Farmageddon" festival.
