Talk:Touring Motor Glider

I think this article should be merged with Motor glider. The MG article looks a bit lopsided without this content. And this article looks to short to stand alone, even with the additional content from Gliding. This title would remain with a redirect to Motor glider.Dhaluza

Support. I tended to think of a motor glider as being a light aircraft with a bigger wingspan ie a TMG. Aircraft with retractable propellers I thought of as primarily gliders. By analogy some schooners have auxiliary engines, but you would have still called them sailing ships. I created the the TMG article to keep Grob 109s etc out of the Glider article. However the Stemme lives in both camps, and so I suppose I have to re-adjust my pre-conceptions. If I were really pedantic, I would prefer calling the other article 'motorized gliders' but the subtlety would be lost on most people. JMcC 20:48, 23 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
