A word with two meanings

edit

'Tosspot' can mean either 'drunkard' (historically & etymologically correct) or 'wanker' (most common modern usage). Previously 'tosspot' on Wikipedia has, at various times, redirected either to wanker or to drunkenness. I think it is important to acknowledge both meanings, and the change in use, so have created this short article, with a couple of early examples of the word and links to the pages it previously redirected to.

As yet I don't have a citation example for the modern usage as a synonym for 'tosser'. I'm sure there must be good examples of this, in sitcoms, newspaper columns & suchlike, so if anyone has a good example, please add it.
