Virgin Trains

It says in this artice that in 1996 Virgin Trains was launched, but if they were initially successful in winning West Coast and CrossCountry in 1997, isn't that the year it was launched? --390VirginPendolino390 (talk) 16:56, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
