Merge from mispelled article edit

Page appears to cover the same topic, only its title is misspelled. Charlie-talk to me-what I've done 11:14, 9 7 (UTC)

Good idea! Pgc512 13:40, 9 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Article was written by a vendor and doesn't provide much info to add to other article. The links could be moved, and this article deleted. Flowanda | Talk 04:11, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
The one thing it does add is the casualty angle. There should definately be one article that defines what a TPA is, with either health and casualty subheads or perhaps sub-articles for health and casualty (my guess is that there's a lot that could be said about the role of TPAs in managing health benefits, and explaining the difference between a TPA and an ASO contract with an insurer). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.145.79.247 (talk) 15:20, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
My comments were about Third party adminstrator; sorry for any confusion. Even so, I think the information as written in both articles is not really easily understood by most readers or even what's needed for a basic or universal understanding of the subject. I'm thinking organization along what you outlined would be a good start, along with sections about history and current discussions around the use of TPAs. I moved the info from Third party adminstrator and gave it a "speedy delete" tag. Cmcnicoll (talk) 05:10, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I was just wondering why the title isn't capitalized throughout since it is leading to an acronym. Also i am currently building an article that contains content that links to this and in the interest that these pages are case sensitive, it would make the linking infinitly easier. Also if you could put the acronym in the title, would also creat a much easier to find link. Thanks so much! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Srfraley (talkcontribs) 21:12, 16 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

PT Global Asistensi Manajemen Indonesia (GAMI), trading as Medilum®, was established in 2000 and has been providing health benefits administration and risk management services to leading insurers and employers since that time.

Our head office is in Jakarta and we operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, responding to calls from participants about hospital admissions, where to seek treatment, if treatment is suitable and so forth – all from dedicated, tailored Call Centers we operate for various clients. To support cashless services and admissions and to help us case manage patient hospital stays, we formally contract more than 800 healthcare facilities around Asia (hospitals and clinics) and more than 1500 in the USA and Canada. In additional to these we also have Specialist Referral Panels which we rely on to assist us in managing complex and unusual medical cases.

As Claims Administrator for many insurance companies and for large corporations choosing to self-fund their employee health benefits, we have a large workforce and state of the art software to handle claims and statistical reporting. We provide first class services to Participants and a wealth of statistical information to clients, allowing them to analyze their risk and make appropriate business decisions as a result.

Our company has successfully passed many assessments and due diligence investigations undertaken by various clients looking to use our services. To that extent we are perhaps one of the most audited and assessed companies operating within Indonesia today. This is important to us though as we choose to be very transparent in our operations
