Line 9: "The film is still banned in Australia and Germany to this day, thus it is aired on Australia cable many times."

This needs cleaning up. I'm not even sure what it means. OAP boba 09:22, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

It means that even though it was banned in Australia, it has aired on Australian cable (TV) many times, which is basically the only way the Australian public can see it, unless it's ordered of the net.

Trivia

I edited the trivia tag because it was done incorrectly. I deleted one sentance (That didn't have a start to it)and got a warning. Seriously, what's with that?

Is it worth noting that Kevin Smith is a huge fan of the film? Takeshi357 16:43, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Breakfast Club vs. TCM2

Funny I had never noticed that the posters were the same and I own both movies.

plot summary

Can someone check the plot? Ruinedendings.com has listed a totally different ending from the one posted.

The Look

Is it just me or does the film look older then the first Texas Chain Saw Massacre?

?? Chili??

I watched a movie I thought was the texas chain saw masscre 2 but there was a sub-plot about them making chili with heman parts is it this movie?

Verification of a trivial point

This was taken from the Silent Hill influences and trivia page.

"The store where you find the chainsaw after beating the game once through is "Cut Rite Chainsaws"- the same name of the chainsaw store where Dennis Hopper buys his saw in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2."

I would just like to make sure that this is correct. This is the name in the game, but I need to know if this is the a store in the movie as well. If anyone can verify this that would be great. --Thaddius 17:46, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

I just watched this again and yes, the name "cut-rite chain saws" does appear on the outside of the store (it's at 20:15 or so in my edition). --thither 20:59, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:TCM2DVD.jpg

Image:TCM2DVD.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Turkish Wikipedia

Is anybody able to translate Turkish? The article on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 on that site [1] seems to be pretty thorough, and it'd be good if somebody could translate it for us, so that we could apply their information onto this Wikipedia. --EclipseSSD (talk) 22:05, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
