Haha, about time someone picked this one up! I look forward to receiving your input. ~~Tristan ("TheDisneyGamer") 18:06, 21 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Sure thing, but I'm sorry to say this was nominated prematurely for GA. The biggest issue I find from a glance is how you have multiple completely unsourced sections ("Track listing", "Personnel", "Accolades", and "Release history"). That's an auto-fail right there. It's also not broad enough in coverage. Here are some other issues:
  • You should include the specific September 29, 1977 release date here, in the lead, and somewhere in article body
  • No support in article prose for recording location. Either cite it there or remove altogether.
  • Why is "Movin' Out" listed twice? Just use the earliest known release date for it.
  • When a lead is supposed to summarize an article, it's ideal to cite all of its content within article body.
  • The lead is entirely US-centric when it comes to chart performance and needs to at least include top 10 album peaks from other nations
  • Calling a song a "hit" isn't encyclopedic tone
  • "impressive sales numbers" is a personal opinion
  • "didn't do well"..... avoid contractions unless part of a quote or title, and if what you really mean by "do well" is sell more than Turnstiles, then just say so
  • There are uncomfortably long paragraphs in "Background" as well as "Production and recording" that should be split up to be easier on the eyes. See MOS:PARAGRAPHS for more. You could also balance them out by rearranging text.
  • "didn't feature any consistent guitarists"..... see above comments on contractions
  • I don't see how File:Just The Way You Are sample.ogg benefits this article per WP:NFCC#8
  • Use italics for Today (U.S. TV program) (aka The Today Show)
  • Within "Production and recording", you should hide the parenthetical for Vienna (Billy Joel song)
  • use italics for Billboard in Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100
  • The "Commercial performance" section is incomplete with no peaks outside of the US. Big problem there. It might help to give the singles their own section, and I'd welcome chart peaks from other nations for these tracks.
  • "The Stranger was well-received by critics, particularly in retrospect, with many considering it to display some of Joel's best written material" needs to be cited to avoid WP:SYNTH. Find and implement a reference that specifically indicates an overall favorable/mixed/unfavorable response from critics.
  • Writing out four reviews in "Reception and legacy" isn't nearly enough for such a famous album, especially when you have a bunch listed in the scorebox of "professional rankings". All of their opinions should be included in prose here.
  • Remove "The" from Rolling Stone, which should be italicized
  • Capitalize the M for AllMusic
  • Single release (or lack thereof) is irrelevant for songs becoming staples in concerts, so remove that non-single bit for "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant"
  • "he's written" from "his favorite and 5th-favorite songs that he's written" should be "he has written" per previous comments on contractions
  • All citations need titles, authors, publishing works, release dates when known, and (unless they're print sources) accessdates.

Once the above is addressed, feel free to renominate at GAN. Best of luck improving the article! SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 19:00, 21 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
