Orphaned references in The Ring (Chuck)

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of The Ring (Chuck)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Leadership

Who is higher ranking: the Ring Elders or The Director? In my mind, the Director is like the President, Ring Elders are like a Congress, and the other Ring leadership (example: Colonel Keller) are like Governors (not to be confused with governors). Unfortunately we don't have enough information to make a guess on that, as we don't even have a clear picture of the Ring's hierarchy. This is complicated by the fact that Shaw described the Ring as being cell-based, which means individual cells could still be operating even without the central leadership in place.

I wish certain elements of the Ring and Fulcrum had been made clearer. We know they both wanted the Intersect, but not specifically what they intended to do with it. We know the Ring wanted Allejandro Goya dead and unable to implement democratic elections in Costa Gavras, and their own goal of directly infiltrating the upper echelons of the CIA, but not WHY.
