Templates

Those templates might be a little extreme in this case, but there are some problems with fragmented sentences and some instances of bias throughout the article. I'd like to revise it myself, but it'd be a while before I could sit down and really get into it. --FuriousFreddy 03:09, 18 November 2005 (UTC)

Pronunciation?

Can someone post the correct pronunciation of the band? Thanks. --149.101.1.129 16:02, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

The origin of the Isley brothers

I've read the native city of the band is Brooklyn, but it seems this is false. On a record, I ve read their from Lincoln Heights in Ohio, near Cinncinati.

According to several informative sites on the group, it is said they're from Cincinnati and yes it's at the Lincoln Heights area. BrothaTimothy (talk · contribs) 18:49, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

The Isley Brothers' page was in a state of 911...

...and I came to the rescue, LOL. I've edited a lot of stuff from the page, creating a background about the overall career of the Isleys and a varied history that didn't look like a fan page. It'll be helpful if you can find sources and put them in references. Plus, I've deleted Jimi Hendrix's name from the "former members" side from their infobox since he wasn't an actual "brother" and was just a background guitarist though he did live with the Isleys for a minute, I still wouldn't consider him an actual "member", he was pretty much an "associated act" and was one of Ernie Isley's biggest influences growing up.
