This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... "Free University of New York" and "The Free University of NYC" are two totally separate things. The first one was a Communist Party school near union square in the 1960's that had a party-line marxist(maoist) rhetoric. The second was a school that met in city parks in NYC as a part of the Occupy movement. The two pages should be split, and given a disambiguation page (or references should be put on each other, linking to each other. I was trying to do that, but I may have done it wrong. I didn't think this was a case of "moving" a page, as it was not the whole page. I have some wikipedia experience but I am not a wizard (nor am I a troll!). I happen to have some expertise in the area, and was trying to make it better. --Theredproject (talk) 23:11, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

I am realizing that I should have "split" the page. (learning...)--Theredproject (talk) 23:11, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
I just did the proper WP:SPLIT process on the two articles, and am adding some material to the new page.--Theredproject (talk) 23:39, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
