Why is it a biradical? (partly resolved) edit
The article clearly stated the 6s2 as an inert pair, not as a biradical as was seen in the infobox (resolved). Also, by what mechanism does it decompose at 928 K?
Found answer to Q.2: it decomposes to Tl and F
