This seems more like a definition than an encyclopædic entry. Avi 06:39, 18 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Deserves to be expanded to include history and further detail. I'd say it warrents an entry here at pedia as well as wiktionary. removing {{Move to Wiktionary}} from article unless further opinion supporting transwiki. here 07:07, 18 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
I agree that "Deserves to be expanded to include history and further detail" and not be romoved. It has potential, just hasn't reached it yet--E-Bod 22:57, 6 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Some of the slang should be clarified for those uninitiated to the sport. Example: "Jibs are any type of fixture which can be ground (?), buttered (?), or tricked off of (?)"

Additional intro information

I've added a little bit of history and something I think of as a sort of current resort trend. The trend I believe is slightly biased to Colorado because I live here, if more information can be added from around the country/globe I'd gladly welcome it. Thanks for the addition. Indeed, I thought Mount Bachelor ski area's first terrain park was around 1985. I can't find any source right now though. —EncMstr 00:48, 22 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! I'll look to see if I can also find a source with respect to the Mount Bachelor park. I've also added some additional details with respect to the Jibs and Jumps and a Difficulty section I believe is a good benefit since they are specific to parks. I think another section that could give more perspective to a terrain park would be about the equipment used to maintain a park. Some of the this machinery is exclusively used to build half pipes and I think it even has an interesting history and development.Bgautrea (talk) 03:54, 22 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
