Someone has proposed merging Teichus with Dymaean Wall, but neglected to start a discussion. The edit summary says, "Should be merged with Teichus: Same archaeological site with different form of the name. Separation is artificial and unclear." On further investigation, our article on Dyme has a picture of what it calls the "Teichos Dymaion", which redirects to "Dymaean Wall", though it is the same picture used for Teichus. A separate picture under "Dymaean Wall" appears to show a very similar wall, and the descriptions in each article do appear to describe the same place, so a merge seems appropriate. Since "Teichus" seems to be the name of the settlement, that would seem to be the better merge-to target. P Aculeius (talk) 14:33, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
