If it was discovered to be a whale, why is there the word "unidentified" at the beggining?
Because they didn't find it and say, "oh look, a whale"... they found it and said "what the heck IS this?!" The word "unidentified" simply means that they didn't know what it was AT FIRST, and it took a while to figure it out. 12.31.187.178 (talk) 22:20, 25 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
