Voter Participation figures

edit

Where do these estimates come from, if they cannot be sourced properly, they need to go. Chartinael (talk) 13:03, 25 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Have you tried reading the references?--obi2canibetalk contr 18:17, 25 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
yes. Please point to the specific reference that ascertains eligible voter numbers in order to calculate participation. Chartinael (talk) 18:44, 25 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'm not doing your work. Read the references yourself.--obi2canibetalk contr 11:27, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Look, I did and there are no sources for the figures ... they are estimated by the orgs and that is it. Except for Norway. However all numbers are unsourced. Chartinael (talk) 11:33, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
So if you haven't gotten anything better than Tamilnet figures, they need to go. Chartinael (talk) 11:49, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
The number of people who participated i.e. voted, is a matter of fact. The only estimates are the numbers eligible to vote. Hence the "c" before the figures. If the organisers say these numbers are eligible it's good enough for me. Do I need to source the source? Why have you chose to target this article? What is your problem?--obi2canibetalk contr 18:28, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
That may be good enough for you, but not for any encyclopedic lemma. Chartinael (talk) 22:05, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

This article is written by an imbecile.

Single source

edit

Nearly all the sources come from TamilNet, which is described as a "pro rebel LTTE website" in its wiki article. It can hardly be considered a reliable or objective source.--eh bien mon prince (talk) 07:27, 12 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
