We should maybe mention the UNIX tty line discipline control characters
I am talking about the dead simple line editor you get when you are in the canonical input processing mode. For example while running cat(1). Some keyboard shortcuts found in vi/bash like ctrl+u(delete line to the left) and ctrl+w(delete word to the left) come from there. Hym3242 (talk) 13:45, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
