As a suggestion, "intort" could have its own page, redirect to a page that contains the word intort, or be replaced by a word that is found in English dictionaries. Vokesk (talk) 15:46, 28 March 2015 (UTC)

Vokesk, I believe "intort" is an example of Anatomical terminology of which there's not a clear lay synonym. As you may know this is a rotational movement which brings the eye closer to the centre and is a clinically useful test to distinguish palsy of the Trochlear nerve. The closest would be "go crosseyed" but is difficult to use because here we are talking about each eye in isolation. As for not having an article about "intort" I think you have a point, let me look into it. --Tom (LT) (talk) 22:12, 28 March 2015 (UTC)

The parent article should be Eye movements. Why do we centralise to one place? Well if we don't we may end up with 20-30 separate articles that, piecemeal, don't add up to much, but are very hard for users to navigate. Having it all in one article means that it is easier to navigate, easier for editors to improve, and allows the information to be compared and contrasted in a meaningful way. Additionally information that is repeated in each article can be contained in a central spot. So my suggestion is we can improve the 'Eye movements' article and then change the redirect so that 'Intort' goes there instead. How does that sound? --Tom (LT) (talk) 00:23, 29 March 2015 (UTC)
