Hello Synaptophysin, thank you very much for completing the survey! The second part of the study involves being interviewed, it is really just answering some simple questions about your editing and your motivations for doing so. Would it be possible to interview you this week? I am conducting interviews over Skype (username Wikiproject) or you can send me an email to nusa.faric.11 ucl.ac.uk and I will send you the interview questions which you complete in your own time and send it back to me (written form). Thank you and your input is very much appreciated! Hydra Rain (talk) 16:35, 30 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia study- Thank you!

Hello Synaptophysin , I hope you remember speaking to me in the summer of 2012 about your motivations for contributing to the health-related pages on Wikipedia. The great news is that the study got published this Wednesday in JMIR (Journal of Medical Internet Research). You can read it here: http://www.jmir.org/2014/12/e260 This would not have been possible without your contributions so once again, I would like to thank you for taking the time and sharing your experiences with me. I also wrote an entry about my own experience with the study, about additional observations and how I plan to further extend my research - published in the WMF blog today: https://blog.wikimedia.org.uk/2014/12/who-writes-wikipedias-health-and-medical-pages-and-why/If you have any comments or questions please get in touch.Perhaps see you at the next Wikimania conference in Mexico!
