For this article to survive possible serious editing or even challenging its existence - you must read carefully wikipedia policy on style and language - this is an encyclopedia entry - there are other wikis for tourist articles! SatuSuro 04:08, 23 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've attempted a cleanup, but sadly Factiva is down at the moment so refs are difficult to obtain. Will try again later. Orderinchaos78 03:09, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sunset Coast

edit

At risk of being too "touristy", a really good west-coast sunset picture would be appropriate in this article :) By the way, it seems the German and Chinese Wikipedians take more of an interest in the phrase than we do.- Gobeirne 14:36, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

That is interesting. I see the Chinese one has picked up the skewed map which I removed off the en article today. Sadly I have no way of telling them it has a north-south problem. —Moondyne 14:47, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
That map has gone already! —Moondyne 15:24, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • The Chinese Version Sunset Coast hasn’t picked up the image you’ve removed. It has been existed since the article first came out. The image is not crooked, just be drawn in different angle. You simply tend a bit more to your right hand side, you will find that it’s straight from north to south! Just likes when you taking photo, if you’re not standing straightforward to the object, that will has different outcomes depending where you're standing from! I just wonder why you don’t understand this common sense!!--Alfeewusy 03:26, 16 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
zh:Image:SunsetCoastMap.jpg. Either the image is crooked or the N-S-E-W arrows are crooked! —Moondyne 04:09, 16 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Alfeewusy, I apologise if you took offence to my message - it certainly wasn't my intention. I just wanted to say to you in the nicest way that I could think of that the image had problems and it was too misleading to be kept. I explained my reasons on your talk page and stand by that. Just to be clear, are you suggesting that the image should have been kept? —Moondyne 08:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
