heh... this one screams "Pizza!" First up; in Taxonomy, this segment:

"William Alphonso Murrill renamed it as Rostkovites brevipes in 1948; the genus Roskovites is now considered to be synonymous with Suillus. Its current name was assigned by German Otto Kuntze in 1898."

For chronicity, ce in "...Its current name was assigned by German Otto Kuntze in 1898..." as the first sentence; then after the Murrill rename sentence, address when/why/how Rostkovites became considered synonymous with Suillus (if that is relevant, IYO). Also, in Descr., mention in the caption for image:Suillus brevipes 51813.jpg that it's an upside-down specimen. lol, That request sounds absurdly obvious; but the blackish stuff on the bottom of the stem makes one think they're seeing a moth sitting on a cleaning sponge at a signicant first glance (or it's just me). But, do keep the image... and just double stack if you have more :) Rcej (Robert) - talk 09:27, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I moved the position of that sentence as suggested. I don't want to go into more detail about Rostkovites synonymy in this article, as it is more germane to the genus article (more information will surface when Suillus makes an appearance at GAN later this year). Stacked another image that shows the flesh and pores, and mentioned in the moth/sponge image caption that it's the underside of the cap. Thanks for reviewing! Very fine! Final two things;

1. in Descr, in sentence: "The tubes are yellow, becoming olive-green with age, and they have an adnate to decurrent attachment to the stem." define 'adnate' and 'decurrent'

2. Also, in Micro. chars, sentence: "The cheilocystidia (cystidia found on the edge of a gill) are 30–60 by 7–10 µm, club-shaped to almost cylindrical, thin-walled, with brown incrusting material at base, in fascicles." define 'fascicles' and clarify how cheilocystidia are "in" them.
