I think "styrene-butadiene rubber" is better name for this page than "styrene-butadiene" because "SBR" is the abbreviation of styrene-butadiene rubber. I propose to change the name from "styrene-butadiene" to "styrene-butadiene rubber". Yuta Aoki 10:41, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
SBR vs SBS
editI have deleted refs which relate to SBS copolymers rather than SBR elastomer, which is quite different! The former are TPE's while the latter is a conventional vulcanised system.Peterlewis (talk) 17:07, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Resistance to petroleum?
editSome mention should be made of SBR's resistance to petroleum products, especially in contrast (I assume) with natural rubber. BMJ-pdx (talk) 00:08, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
Image problem
editAs most of the atoms involved in this molecule are carbon, the image should depict a carbon skeleton model without explicit carbon atoms present in the structure for ease of viewing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.114.255.15 (talk) 23:31, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
