Pseudoetymology edit

..."fool's field". This was because of the stony soil in the area, so the toponym's mutation is most appropriate...

That's plausible but it's not actually information unless there's a reliable source somewhere. It's just as likely the land was considered barren, unsafe, owned by a fool, etc. or that "fool" was a mutation of an earlier similar sounding name in the same manner. — LlywelynII 22:26, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Enclosure edit

The answer to the question may not be important enough to note in the article but it's still weird... If Chesthill Acre had a landlord in 1712, why was it "enclosed" and parceled off to new owners as "common land" in 1801? — LlywelynII 22:34, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
