'To Be Or Not To Be' Album Not Listed

This was an album of Status Quo 'b-sides' released some time during the 1980s, but doesn't appear in the Discography. I know it existed because I have a cassette tape recorded from the LP which I borrowed many many years ago :-) but sadly no further details. Chart Positions

Can someone please confirm that the chart positions are correct? There have been a number of modifications recently. Also, a record that has not been released in a certain territory should preferrably be marked "n/r". --Vertigo Man-iac (talk) 10:36, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Two albums not listed

The Dutch Pop Encyclopedia lists as Status Quo's second album Status Quotations (Pye '69), which does not appear on the list. My (German) Price Catalogue also listst it, with more detail: Marble Arch MAL 1193, 69, UK (although it calls it Status Quotation (no plural)). The catalogue is from 1995 and lists a price of 47,30 DM, which translates to about 30 euro, I believe. So it's a bit hard to get by, but does appear to be an official album. Googling "Status Quo" "Status Quotation" gives plenty sites that list it, but none seem to have more info (haven't looked very long).
Another album that is not in the list, nor in either book, but which I have, is Two, a compilation album (Vogue, VK 33). On this album is Tune to the music, which has only been released as a single, not on an official album, as I understand it. DirkvdM (talk) 07:18, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

"status quotations" is listed on numerous sites including mtv as a quo compilation album, so have added it. "status quo" and "status quo two" were 2 compilations released only in belgium released in 1976. so it says here Mister sparky (talk) 14:52, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

Come On You Reds

I don't think Come On You Reds should be listed in the singles. The single was credited solely to The Manchester United Football Squad, and the only mention of Status Quo on the packaging was on the back cover - small writing saying "Produced by Status Quo for the Handle Group of Companies." Status Quo were involved, but it's not a Status Quo single and thus shouldn't be here - it's the same case as Nothing Has Been Proved, the Dusty Springfield song written and produced by Pet Shop Boys but credited solely to Springfield. Not a Pet Shop Boys single and thus doesn't appear in their discography.Humbledaisy (talk) 16:01, 28 August 2019 (UTC)

Discriminating between albums that failed to chart and albums whose chart positions are unknown

I was always under the impression that early Quo albums had failed to chart in a lot of countries because of all the dashes in this article but this is not the case. Reading Francis Rossi's autobiography (I Talk Too Much), he confirms that, for example, Picturesque went top 10 in the UK and Germany.

This explains why the discography here has ~20 albums listed as UK top tens whereas official primary sources state that they've actually had 25. A lot of data here is either missing or misleading. What can be done about that? Can we use an autobiography as a source for chart positions? A question mark or some expression of "unknown" or "nobody has bothered to add this territory yet" would be better than a dash implying "didn't chart" in many cases here.
