First sentence
This first sentence seems a bit... grating?
Perhaps not insulting peoples' intelligences would be a better path to walk.

Shouldn't this article be called something like Spaghetti tree hoax, since it's more about the spoof report than about the "fictitious tree"? --Damiens.rf 23:30, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- No, don't tell anyone, but the hoax is a hoax: Spaghetti does grow on trees in southern Switzerland. Semolina flour is nothing but dried, powdered and bagged spaghetti strands.
