Unverifiable source
editCan you provide verifiable sources? Since the online books that have been linked cannot be open and cannot be found anywhere since they date back to 1926!!! FierakuiVërtet (talk) 15:50, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Discospinster I forgot to tag you FierakuiVërtet (talk) 15:55, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- The Stickey book can be read at Google Books, at least for me. ... discospinster talk 17:25, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- 1) So wouldn't it be more correct to write that "It WAS called/known Norther Epirus"(1926). I don't know where you are from, but Northern Epirus is no longer acceptable (for obvious reasons... it implied territorial claims on that area) and neither the Greek Government nor the Albanian Government uses it.
- 2) Then i am deleting the other citation, the one which cannot be open and verified.
- I will make these changes. If you still don't agree revert them and explain me why here. FierakuiVërtet (talk) 23:28, 3 August 2022 (UTC)

NUTS-2 Regions an ethnographic region?
editWhat has a NUTS-2 definition to do with ethnographic region and especially with Chameria?Alexikoua (talk) 01:24, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
It is clarification and you know it. FierakuiVërtet (talk) 15:01, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
- Clarification for what? Can you elaborate why a NUTS-2 region in Albania is supposed to be an ethnographic area that includes territories outside Albania? That's childish and you know it.Alexikoua (talk) 01:40, 2 October 2022 (UTC)
Southern Albania is an historical regions before being a NUTS-2 region. Therefore, it is primarily known for being the zone where Tosk Albanians reside/resided. A clarification is needed to the reader searching for Toskëria. FierakuiVërtet (talk) 08:42, 2 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hmm since you are talking about historical regions allow me in order to secure neutrality all POVs should be added. Southern Albania's alternative is Northern Epirus [[1]] and this should be also included in the context of historical regions. Greeks also live in those regions.Alexikoua (talk) 02:44, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
Epirus is an historical region, not Northern Epirus (an irredentist concept created to justify territorial claims). Besides, southern Albania and Northern Epirus are not synonyms, check the map. You are being ridiculous right now.
However you can restore your edits. This discussion doesn't draw any attention anyway. FierakuiVërtet (talk) 18:37, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
- Before we proceed to the discussion it would be better for you to provide a full quote since the provided one does not confirm that the Toskeria part of southern Albania incorporates regions outside Albania.Alexikoua (talk) 03:33, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
I will rewrite the last part: However you can restore your edits. This discussion doesn't draw any attention anyway. FierakuiVërtet (talk) 04:48, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
Foreign irredentism in this article
editCan someone explain why is it necessary to mention a greek irredentist term for a region in Albania? The term is nowhere officially used in Albania. Furthermore the area that the term supposedly covers doesn't even correspond to the whole area of Southern Albania! We can then as well use Çamëria in Thesprotia pages, right? 2A02:908:1994:3F60:7D59:7ECC:5233:770E (talk) 18:52, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
