- To my knowledge, if the IP disassociates the username for the purpose of giving the false impression that the contributions are from different people, it would be an example of sock puppetry. Unintentionally failing to log in is not in itself sock puppetry and can even justify revdel if the logged in user wishes to remove the link to otherwise private information.
