Talk:Slave I

Latest comment: 8 years ago by EEMIV in topic Redirect

I did a major rewrite and removed the stub tag. I may have removed some info that I wasn't sure was correct. For example, I'm not quite sure what the status on missile and torpedo launchers is. -LtNOWIS 06:55, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)

The shape

edit

Come on. No mention that it's shaped like an elephant's head? --Boradis 15:20, 31 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Did you know, that in all the years I've been a SW fan, that particular observation has never occurred to me? --maru (talk) contribs 02:57, 2 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Name

edit

I seem to remember hearing from somewhere (actually, multiple somewheres) that Boba renamed the ship Slave II before Episode 5. Woodrow Buzard 15:20, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

No, Slave II is a whole other ship that he used after Slave I was impounded after the events of Episode VI. However, he later recovered Slave I.(Myscrnnm 21:46, 28 October 2007 (UTC))Reply

Sound?

edit

I've always been fascinated by the unique, "unmuffled" noise of the Slave I in motion, compared to the other starships depicted. Is there any background information available as to the motivation or construct of that sound behind the scenes? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.88.228.158 (talk) 02:32, 9 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Notability

edit

Does this fictional ship really warrant a wikipedia page? Bear in mind there's a pretty long article about it on the star wars wiki: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Slave_I 71.127.5.47 (talk) 18:30, 15 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Redirect

edit

Per consensus at Wikiproject talk page, I've redirected this article. Sent it to the List of SW spacecraft as opposed to Boba or Jango because it's used by both characters. --EEMIV (talk) 16:53, 16 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
