The Phrase Silicon Glen

is not in my opinion in common usage and is the wrong title for this page. it's main other use appears to be on the commercial site www.siliconglen.com there is little to no other references to it. it is a manufactured marketing phrase. this page should have a more appropriate title. But what would be a more appropriate title? This article is about the electronics and software industry of the Scottish central belt that was (maybe less so, is) commonly referred to as "Silicon Glen" (see the BBC article in the External Links section). Don't worry about siliconglen.com - that's of no great relevance here. Letdorf (talk) 01:03, 15 February 2013 (UTC).
Silicon Strath would be more appropriate! The metaphor is derived from Santa Clara Valley, a broad valley which if it were in Scotland would be called a strath, not a glen. A glen is only a very narrow valley. Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 12:44, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
