Representative-Elect??

Winning a party’s primary does not make one a “representative-elect.” As the article states, the election will be in November. She is, as I understand it, now the Democratic Party’s nominee for that position and will stand for election in November. Tell me if I’m wrong. Jeisenberg (talk) 05:01, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

Misleading - Shontel Has Not Won A Seat

This article implies she has already won, but the general election won't be held until November. 12.146.40.156 (talk) 05:50, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

Do we call women by their first name now? Would you make mention of Donald, the ex-president? Do better. Twopower332.1938 (talk) 21:33, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

  • Congressional candidates who win their primary do usually not have wikipedia articles if they are not otherwise notable. This person does not have enough notability other than primary win. Twopower332.1938 (talk) 02:03, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
Nominate for deletion, if you'd like. I think she easily passes GNG give the high-profile nature of this race and the fact she is the prohibitive congresswoman-elect. Pennsylvania2 (talk) 02:19, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
Agreed. She passes WP:GNG easily. KidAdSPEAK 02:53, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
