As a minimum an article on SWRs, which are defined by oscillatory local field potentials, should illustrate recordings of these SWRs. Also, since it's claimed that large numbers of neurons fire in synchrony during SWRs, this should also be illustrated. Furthermore, if these neurons are firing in synchrony, how can they be firing in sequences that recapitulate their activity sequences during spatial exploration? It's claimed that SWRs are essential for learning, even though the Kovacs paper claims the opposite.It all sounds rather dubious Paulhummerman (talk) 19:38, 3 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
