Proposed merge edit

It has been suggested that this article be merged with flora of the Colorado Plateau and Canyonlands region. The reason given in the edit summary was "Merge, very little here except a definition".[1]

  • Oppose - Salt desert shrub exists outside of the Colorado Plateau as a vegetation type of its own. The flora of the Colorado Plateau and Canyonlands region article is for general information on vegetation types. This article is for specifics of this plant community. It is for a narrative description that has more information than a list, but way too much detail for an article on an entire region. FloraWilde (talk) 19:50, 29 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
Support merge: there has been no development here over 3 years and the content there is no evidence that it is independently notable. The single reference here is the same as the single reference on the parent article which has an empty section that would be ideal for the current stub. Klbrain (talk) 15:49, 16 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
