What is the silver point, and where can I find a reference to it on Wikipedia? KickAssClown (talk) 22:52, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Please define variables
editI would appreciate A, B, etc. being defined for the Planckian form. Or are these determined experimentally? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.254.57.30 (talk) 08:31, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
A, B, and C are fitting parameters. c2 is a constant. There are estimate values for A, B, and C floating around out there based upon the wavelengths your IR sensor operates at (I think it was from the Australian reference). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.53.138.131 (talk) 05:38, 18 March 2015 (UTC)
As of 2018-11-26, reference [5] has changed to https://www.measurement.govt.nz/resources/#collapse-control-1-4 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.51.192.6 (talk) 17:08, 26 November 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, this reference was updated, see the updated note. 190.27.180.118 (talk) 20:31, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
Relationship to Planck's Law
editHi; I would appreciate some clarity on the relationship of the Sakuma-Hattori equation to the Planck equation. Is this simply an approximation of it? Is Planck's actual Law always a better fit than the "Planckian form" of this formula, just more cumbersome? --RProgrammer (talk) 12:07, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
