needs some modern info

For a page that looks to have been created two days ago, it is a bit out of date. The crew is just the family of Brian, Karin and their daughter. Dynamics have changed a bit since the sourced 2016 article Sabalon (talk) 14:57, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

The crew keeps changing. There seems to be a "core" crew: Brian, his brother Brady, Brian's wife Karin, Brady's girlfriend Blue, and then other crew members come and go. A most recent leg was Brian + Karin + baby. So maybe the article should reflect the changing patterns of the crew.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 18:42, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

I think that's a good idea - I know they have another friend on right now, so it's changed again already :) Perhaps the opening paragraph should be about the owner and current crew - or like you said the core crew (Brian Karin and Nugget), and then another section about the Crew in general - Could cover some of the past core crew, talk about some of the fans and supporters who have crewed with them etc...?. Update to Infobox

I made a significant change to the YouTube infobox (in this article) and want to explain what the change is and why I made it so that editors are aware.

To enable the display of an automatically updated count of subscribers, the |subscribers= and |subscriber_date= parameters were removed. {{Infobox YouTube personality}} is already set up and configured to pull subscriber data from Wikidata when the |subscribers= parameter is not present or has no assigned value. Wikidata has a bot that periodically updates the subscriber count for YouTube channels. The update is done for each channel when there is a 10% change in the number of subscribers or when a multiple of a major factor of 10 is crossed (e.g., 10,000; 100,000; 1M, etc.).

• Note well, if any editor subsequently sets the subscriber count manually, then the automatic update will cease to be displayed by the infobox.
• If any editor sets the subscriber_date, then it will not be overridden, even if the automatically-updated subscriber count is displayed.

The number of views is not automatically updated and displayed, so |views= is still needed and needs to be set manually. Use |view_date= to set the date for the latest view count. N.B., the date should be month and year only; no day per {{Infobox YouTube personality}} documentation.

Clarification: The subscriber count in Wikidata is updated automatically when any of the following conditions have been met:

1. not been updated in a year or
2. increased by at least 10% or
3. surpassed a new factor of 10 milestone (100k, 1M, 10M, etc.)

So, based on the current subscriber count of 846k stored in Wikidata (as of January 2024), it will not be updated for another year (January 2025) or until it increases by 10% (to ~931k), whichever comes first. Unless they suddenly see a big spike in subscribers that is less than 10% (~84.6k), I think this is sufficient. However, if there is consensus that this is not satisfactory, it is easy enough to set the subscriber count manually in the infobox. Comments?  — Archer1234 (t·c) 22:30, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
