    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
I checked the German-language edition of Gröner and it says that the "outer" layer is really the upper strake of armor, and the "inner" is really the lower strake. The 234-260 mm is the thickness of the teak backing. How thick was turret armor? Add both to infobox. Explain/link caliber. Link boilers, wrought iron and torpedo tubes. Why 4998 ihp in infobox and 5471 in main body? If one figure is from trials please specify. If this description is common to the class article as well as the other ships in the class, please fix all of them. Were the 17cm gun chase guns?
Should all be fixed - the 4998/5471 figures are for different ships, probably a copy-paste error in transferring the updated infobox. Based on line-drawings, the 17cm guns do appear to be chase guns, link added. Thanks for clarifying the strakes/layers issue. I have applied your corrections/suggestions to the other ships in the class. Parsecboy (talk) 14:51, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
