I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:31, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Sturmvogel 66: - any update on this? Parsecboy (talk) 12:02, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
Comments from Iazyges
editSupport Heres some suggestions:
- "the only member of her class." Is it known what class she was considered? if so i think it should be put in.
- No, unique ships don't have a separate ship class
- "though the sides on either end of the casemate were iron-built." does "sides" mean end or literal sides?
- The literal sides of the ship's hull - if you're looking at the ship from the side, the center (where the casemate was) consisted of iron plates hung on wooden walls. The sides on either end, toward the bow and stern, were simply sheet iron riveted to the wooden frame of the ship.
- "She was launched on 25 February 1869 and began fitting out work." Perhaps explain what fitting out means?
- The link should be sufficient, I think - it's a little beyond the scope of the article to go into detail about installing equipment, furniture, and the like.
- "Completion of the ship was delayed due to limited budgets for the Navy and the significant expense of importing the vessel's armor plate from Britain, and Lissa was not completed until May 1871." perhaps also mention the time it took for the armor plate to be delivered if it is known?
- Sondhaus doesn't mention when the funding was finally authorized for this ship's armor.
- "several screw frigates" Perhaps steam frigates is better, as its the more known of the two phrases.
- Sounds fine to me

- @Iazyges: Firstly, don't use level two headers as they cut the review on the talk page. And Sturmvogel_66 has left the review, and you are reviewing the article, you may blank the "Reviewer" field just below the header, and subsequently place the following code in green color and save the page.
(talk · contribs) ~~~~~

- I see no outstanding problem, I'm prepared to pass this article, doing one last check. Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 12:03, 27 September 2016 (UTC)÷
- One more suggestion, maybe "Lissa was ultimately stricken in 1892" should be "Lissa was ultimately stricken from the fleet in 1892"
Passed
editI have passed the article after checking everything against the MOS and making a couple small changes. @Parsecboy: Congratulations on your new GA. Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 03:03, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
