Term "S.p.A."
Does anyone know what "S.p.A." refers to? I've seen it with companies or corporations from Italy and Southeast Asia, such as India, and I am sure there are more cases. Is it a variation of S.A.? If so, does anyone have the full verbage with translation? --Mirokudesign 02:03, 26 August 2005 (UTC)

Equivalent to SA in Malaysia The equivalent of an SA in Malaysia is the Berhad (Bhd.) corporations, not the Sendirian Berhad (Sdn. Bhd.) entities. The latter are closer to the SARL.
