The pliers on the picture are not round-nose pliers. These pliers are circlip pliers. Those two types of pliers are very simillar but you cannot use one type instead of other. Darko B., Zagreb, Croatia
If you look at the tips of those pliers on your pic, you will see that they are different than those of round-nose pliers I have put here. Round-nose pliers' tips are conical to the very tip, and your pliers are not because they have to have the same radiuses on the ends of both tips otherwise circlips would fall down from them and you couldn't keep them on round-nose pliers.
Another difference is that round nose pliers ALWAYS work as all ordinary pliers do: when their handles are pressed one towards another, tips are closing and that's the only way that they work. On the other hand, there are two kinds of circlip pliers: ones that work the same way as those round-nose pliers and ones like those on your pic, that work in the oposite way: when you press handles together, tips separate.
