Talk:Rocky Creek World War Two Hospital Complex

Please double check the following sentence in the introduction: "It was built from 1942 October to 1945 September". Later it says, it was in operation during that time, which I believe is correct. --NearEMPTiness (talk) 11:32, 20 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

I think this sentence is referring to it being continually rebuilt during this period - it may have opened in October 1942, but the article notes that the transformation from tent hospital through to permanent hospital was ongoing through to at least 1944. I'm not sure about the extension into 1945, however, as the article notes that it was being closed progressively from October 1944. I reworded it so as to remove the end date and to note the continuing construction after the initial opening. I also removed TJ Watkins from the lead as generally having "built" the hospital, as they appear to have only built one part of the facility, and exactly when that bit happened is not dated in the article. Thanks, this is an improvement. --NearEMPTiness (talk) 14:16, 20 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
