Map edit

Nobody cares about a local horse that wears reeboks. Although it is strange, overall it's a little ridiculous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.117.141.8 (talk) 20:56, 19 January 2010 (UTC) The map is unacceptable; it makes it look as if the bulk of the town is in Lee County, rather than Ogle. I don't know what map you are looking at, but to me only a small portion of the bottom of the dot is in Lee. So the map is acceptable.--Kranar drogin 01:39, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
That's because I moved it. Go back a few edits and look. HuskyHuskie 21:07, 15 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Gotchya now. The GPS that were inputted where the ones that were already existing on the page. May have to keep a better eye out on this in the future.--Kranar drogin 03:03, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

The coords were correct. If they are changed then the aerial photo links are messed up and anyone attempting to locate the city with them will be lost. The problem is probably in the map / geobox code and that is what needs to be fixed, not changing coords. --Dual Freq 03:39, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I tinkered with the X Y variables instead of the coords. Click these two links and hit Aerial photo on a map program and you'll see why the coords should not be changed.
Don't change the coordinates. --Dual Freq 03:58, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Seal of Rochelle.png edit

Image:Seal of Rochelle.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Hub Image edit

The fine editor, User:Drmies, has just done some edits to this article, all but one of which I endorse. However, his last edit was a (very understandable) mistake. He removed an image he termed "trivial"; in fact, it's anything but.

When I added that photo more than four years ago, I did so after conducting a long search for an appropriate image. The word "hub" does not immediately bring up the same image in everyone's minds, and in fact, few people would think of this image when they first hear the word "hub". But this is what Rochelle denizens mean by the term, and this is the same image used by the sports teams on their banners. A reader could very well be confused by the use of the term Hub City, even after reading the article, but upon seeing the image with the text, the meaning becomes much clearer. So I'm respectfully reverting and putting the image back. HuskyHuskie (talk) 05:04, 30 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
