The RMC and Namangi Aute are not synonymous. Namangi Aute is an old party dating back to the 1970s. The RMC was founded in 2012 by Charlot Salwai and other MPs kicked out of the UMP. Namangi Aute then merged into the RMC party that same year, but is (or was) simply one component of the RMC. Paul Telukluk was thus elected as an RMC candidate (not as an NA candidate) in the 2012 election. He then crossed the floor to be given a ministerial portfolio in 2014, and thereafter seems to have considered himself NA once more instead of RMC. Until he was convicted for bribery in 2015 and lost his seat in Parliament. See the French Wikipedia where there are separate articles for Namangi Aute and the RMC, with sourced information.
