reason for article edit
The Global Warming article is a Wikipedia:Featured articles page. It prominently uses the acronym "RSS" at the top in the caption for an image. "RSS" is used no where else in the article. It is undefined.
There are at least a dozen other articles which use "RSS" to mean Remote Sensing Systems corporation and do not define "RSS".
I am have added wikilinks from seven Wikipedia articles which discuss aspects of global warming and use an image with data from RSS.
I think the importance and intensity of feelings generated by the global warming topic warrants this article and links to it.

Please update edit
Since last edited by (now apparently retired user) "Matthiasschabel" on 10 July 2014, there have been significant changes affecting certain contents in this article with regard to rates of warming discussions and the June 2015 NOAA report in particular. It would be useful if someone watching this page could arrange for an update to reflect newer data. Cliffewiki (talk) 14:32, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

I would have to say that the surface data seems that it’s more accurate, because a number of groups analyze the surface data, including some who set out to prove the other ones wrong, and they all get more or less the same answer.
